Environmental impact assessment
Heat produced in cogeneration systems underlies most centralized heat supply in Romania.
At the same time, unfortunately, there are densely populated areas in Romania that use a lot of alternative heating, such as individual heating, such as individual heating boiler on natural gas or wood, staircase or building thermal boiler with gas.
These alternatives are facilities designed to retain and release noxious flue gases at low height, most often directly through pipelines that pass through the wall of buildings. These solutions have major impacts on human health and also to the environment.
It`s time to reevaluate the situation and do everything we can to protect the environment and our health, all by developing and implementing solutions and energy efficiency and optimization projects.
Impact of heat through high efficiency cogeneration in Brasov
The new equipment installed in centrals provides more power using less fuel, thus leading to reduce emissions. In addition, the amount of CO2 emission allowances will be reduced by about 4 million/year (market value).

Brasov – Romania`s Green Capital
Green Umbrella is a campaign of civic responsibility, supported by Tuborg. In 2011 the project “Green Capital of Romania” for promoting the cities with eco spirit. Brasov was the first town honored with this title.
