In 2010, we chose to bring about a positive change in the energy market and in the community of Brasov.
We are Bepco, the first pilot project and the largest private urban investment in high-efficiency cogeneration in Romania.
We envisioned our future, to become an integrated energy solutions hub and refreshed our visual identity in line with it.
We created our own sustainable development plans for the next 20 years. We thus support the achievement of the climate neutrality objectives undertaken by Romania and the Municipality of Brasov respectively through the Green Deal and Fit to 55 programmes.
We have protected our employees, as well as the local community since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have introduced a work-from-home system on a rotation basis and provided our employees with a safe working environment for their wellbeing.
We launched and developed a new business line: balancing the National Power Grid by contracting ancillary services with Transelectrica.
We were awarded the „Electricity Company of the Year” at the Romanian Energy Awards 2015.
We launched the Dual Source project and actively offered advisory services to SACET Brasov to benefit from European funding for reconnecting clients to the district heating system.
We founded Bepco, a high-efficiency energy producer through CHP (combined heat and power) technology, inspired by best practice models from other European countries.
Our multidisciplinary team of engineers, financial analysts, trading specialists and energy enthusiasts collaborate to create customised energy solutions.
We have grown together by cultivating creativity, will, discipline, and perseverance.
We harness change and approach the future by interconnecting the digital ecosystem with the current technologies in our power plants.
